Moving Premises?

Moving out

A few days before your move please call our Customer Helpline at 08457 455 455 to arrange an appointment to turn your your supply off. Failure to do so could result in additional charges on your account.

When you call please provide your:

  • Account Number and Meter Point Registration Number (MPRN) from your electricity bill
  • Meter serial number (from the front of your meter).
  • Full address including postcode
  • Your new/forwarding address
  • Contact telephone number (or e-mail address)

Moving in

Premises with a new supply

Before the supply can be connected you must first register with us. To do this you require the Meter Point Reference Number (MPRN) from NIE Infrastructure (this is included in your quotation for the new supply).

If you do not know your MPRN please call NIE Infrastructure at 08457 643 643 or e-mail customercontact@nie.co.uk.

Once you have the MPRN you can register by calling our Customer Helpline at 08457 455 455.

Premises with an existing supply

On the day of your move please call our Customer Helpline at 08457 455 455 and provide your:

  • Existing Power NI Account Number (if you have one)
  • Full address of the new premises (if possible including postcode)
  • Meter Serial number (from the front of the meter in the new premises)
  • Opening Meter reading(s)
