Small farms

Many small farms are not ‘energy intensive’ and most of their electricity is used in and around the farmhouse and outbuildings.  The majority of these have bills based on our Domestic tariffs, which attract VAT at the lower rate.

However where specialist farm electrical equipment is installed we recommend our Farm Nightsaver tariff. The majority who switch from Farm Popular to Farm Nightsaver save around 10% on their bills.

With Farm Nightsaver you get 7 hours of low cost electricity every day between 1am and 8am (2am to 9am in summer time). That’s plenty of time for you to make savings on your bill on things like ice-building, early morning milking, hot water storage, security lighting etc.

To change to Farm Nightsaver all we need to do is make an appointment with you to fit a new meter. The new meter is fitted free of charge providing it can be done during normal working hours.

Call us today – the sooner you call, the sooner you’ll start saving.
