We are updating our prices from 1st October 2018. Questions and answers about this price change can be found below.

What is the price change?

It is an increase of 13.8%. This increase is due to increases in the costs of producing electricity, such as the cost of fuel used in power stations.

Why are prices increasing?

Prices are going up because the cost of fuels used in electricity generation have increased, which means higher wholesale electricity costs and in turn, this increase to our standard rate (of electricity).

What does the Power NI price change mean for Keypad customers?

Keypad customers who purchase a ‘top up’ from Tuesday 18th September, will get a special price change code (40 or 60 digits, depending on your tariff).
