Supporting local community organisations
Providing sponsorship opportunities is important for Power NI to develop relationships and grow an understanding of our customers right across Northern Ireland and we are keen to make lasting positive impacts in local communities.
Over the years we have help fund events and organisations all over the province, enabling them to keep the doors open, refresh their facilities or support them in sporting events. View our powerful partners and find out how you can get involved.
Please note, we are currently not accepting any current sponsorship applications at present, however please check back on this page for updates in the near future.
Power NI work with a range of organisations, clubs and societies right across Northern Ireland. Read more about our sponsorship partners below:
Power NI sponsored St Brigid’s U10 Power NI tournament which was held on the 11th September 2016 in Harlequins RFC, Belfast. The £2,000 sponsorship for the South Belfast tournament helped the team purchase new balls, bibs and cones as well as help the team with coaching courses and training sessions.
Power NI is the sponsor for the 2015 pantomime at the Grand Opera House. This year, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs will feature pantomime favourite, May McFettridge alongside X Factor’s Chico.
Power NI is delighted to be able to support this iconic pantomime which lights up lives year after year.
Power NI has teamed up with Ulster Rugby to bring fans a unique, new service at The Kingspan Stadium. Two solar powered phone-charging points have been erected at the Memorial Archway, which fans can use to give their phone batteries a quick boost – absolutely free!
Look out for our phone-charging points at the next game at the Kingspan Stadium, Ravenhill.
The Prince's Trust XL Club is a personal development programme aimed at young people aged 13 – 19 at risk of underachievement or exclusion from school, which is currently delivered in partnership with 80 schools in Northern Ireland.
Power NI has committed to provide funding to support one of these clubs for the next year.
Power NI is proud to sponsor the Dr McKenna Cup competition. This competition involves the counties and universities in Ulster, and is the secondary competition to the Senior Ulster Football Championship.
The addition of the University teams has raised the profile and awareness of the competition in recent years, although the McKenna Cup was always held in high regard in Ulster footballing circles.
