It’s one giant leap as Power NI Staff abseil to raise money for Action Mental Health

Tuesday, September 26, 2017

Three daring staff members from Power NI have taken a huge leap to raise money for the company’s nominated charity, Action Mental Health.

Derek McGinley, Emma Corscadden and Ursula Esler took to the ropes and abseiled 167 feet down one of Belfast’s renowned landmark buildings, Europa Hotel on Sunday 23rd September.

Power NI is aiming to raise funds for local charity, Action Mental health, which changes the lives of those living with mental ill health and promotes resilience and well-being to future generations.

Ciara Toolan, Power NI Charity Committee member said; ""It was great seeing some of our staff, the dare-devils and those overcoming their fear, making their way down the front of the Europa and raising much needed funds for our nominated charity.  On behalf of the charity committee, I’d like to thank them all and their supporters for their fundraising efforts".

The abseil is one of many planned fundraising activities which Power NI staff will get involved with across the year. Follow our journey at www.powerni.co.uk/charity
