The Mulberry Bush Day Nursery, Castlereagh, received a £250 donation from Power NI, Northern Ireland’s leading energy supplier. The nursery spent the money on an outdoor playhouse.  The donation is a result of Power NI’s ‘Helping Hands’ staff sponsorship scheme, which encourages employees to nominate an organisation of their choice to receive a donation.

Power NI employee, Gwyneth Compston nominated the Mulberry Bush Day Nursery to receive funding because her son attends the nursery. She said: "It is great that Power NI helped the nursery buy such a great play resource for the nursery. All the children are thoroughly enjoying it, especially my son."

Judith McKee, the nursery owner said: "I am absolutely delighted that the nursery was nominated to receive the donation. I would like to thank Power NI and Gwyneth Compston for helping us purchase the playhouse; everyone loves it!"
