1. FOYLE MARITIME FESTIVAL
14th -22nd July

Set sail to the marvelous Maiden City for this massive maritime festival.
Queens Quay will become a kaleidoscope of colour as it hosts the stopover of the 2017 - 2018 Clipper Race winners on their home stretch. With wonderland fun, awesome activities, live music, arts and crafts and welcoming crowds.

2. LADY OF THE LAKE FESTIVAL
13th - 22nd July

Celebrate 40 years of Northern Ireland’s largest cross community festival.
Legend has it that the ‘Lady’ walked amongst the mist on Lough Erne to signal good times ahead! And there’ll be plenty of good times here with a huge festival feel and special Home Coming Parade through the town.

3. CASTLEWELLAN AGRICULTURAL SHOW

Find out all about farm life at this fabulous family fun event.
Set across 50 acres of lush forest park, the show plays host to all kinds of ‘Best in Show’ animal classes, vintage tractors and countryside activities, a fashion tent, food, craft and trade stalls, live music and kid’s entertainment.
It’s all things agricultural, all in one place!
4. PORTAFERRY GALA FESTIVAL
14th – 20th July, 10am - 11pm

This event has been making waves in Portaferry since 1967
And this weekend kicks off a sen-sea-tional week of activities in and around Portaferry - with farming community events, live music, sailing, GAA and a massive float and band parade to top things off.
With most events free, it’s well worth a come and see!
5. SHARK AWARENESS DAY

While you’re in Portaferry, why not stop by the Aquarium and come face to face with some sharks! Well, some blacktip reef sharks to be precise, not quite like the ones in the movies, but fascinating nonetheless!
There’s also a whole range of shark themed activities to get tour teeth into!
6. Causeway Speciality Market

The Causeway Speciality Market has a fantastic mix of stalls on offer, with 52 traders selling a great range of locally produced food and crafts. Take some time to browse the many stalls, taste some of the produce, smell the assortment of scented candles, try on a piece of hand-made jewellery or get the perfect present for a friend.
7. BIG SPLASH FESTIVAL

Taking part or taking it all in, experience the buzz of the Triathlon in this beautiful part of the world.
Participants will be striving for personal best times in the 750m swim, 12-mile cycle circuit and 5km run races. Afterwards, Portglenone Marina is the last port of call for all the post-race analysis.
