1. BOO AT THE ZOO
Saturday 27th & Sunday 28th October
Kids go FREE if fancy dressed!
Make up your little monsters and go meet all kinds of creatures!
Kids who are dressed up will get into the Zoo for free this weekend! Bring a parent, and bring a pumpkin to give to the animals at feeding time, with freaky face painting, bat talks and creepy crafts.
It’s a hoot at the zoo this Halloween!
2. MINI DOG EXPO
Saturday 27th October, 12pm -4pm
Agape Centre, Lisburn Road, Belfast
Grab your canine friends and get down to the one stop shop for all things dog!
Meet a variety of businesses who provide a variety of services such as canine massage, canine reiki, dog agility and behaviour training, grooming, food and nutrition advice, dog activities and dog friendly food tours, pet photography, and more.
Come along with or without your dog, sit in on the talks and meet the exhibitors.
3. HALLOWEEN FUN

Go for some ghoulish goings-on in Groomsport!
Just 10 minutes from Bangor, you’ll find Halloween fun for everyone. Join the Tales of the Wild Animal Road Show, a Plant & Play Witch’s Garden, Geordie’s Music Box and lots more!
Make creepy crafts and keep boredom at bay, all day!
4. PURPLE TURNIP FESTIVAL
Saturday 23rd October, 11m – 3pm
Find a purple turnip and win a prize!
Before pumpkins, the trusty turnip was used to ward off evil spirits and in a nod to this very tradition, you’re invited to come and find some. With spooky exotic animals, an enchanted Autumn market, and fun for the little ones.
Dress up in your Halloween best and join in.
5. SEAPARK FIREWORKS
Saturday 27th October 4-9pm (Fireworks at 8pm)

Welcome to Holywood! Seapark, Holywood.
Like its glamourous counterpart, this event has style and sophistication written all over it. Wrap up and get down to County Down for a delicious bite to eat and the perfect spot to watch some music-accompanied fireworks.
6. LITTLE SPOOKS

8. HIDDEN AUTUMN ESTATE
Saturday 27th October, 10am -12.30pm & 1.30pm – 4pm
Crom Estate, Fermanagh
Board a 100-year-old wooden craft and float through a little history.
You’ll see Crom Estate like never before; from the water, with woodlands and wildlife, historic ruins and red squirrels - you may even spot a deer! Discover the secret places by boat and with a wonderful woodland walk.
It’s an amazing autumnal experience.
9. DERRY HALLOWEEN

It’s the “Return of the Ancients”!
Billed as “The Greatest Halloween Celebrations in the world” you’ll be in no doubt where you should be, with a packed programme of events like Trail of Terror (£4), Jack O’Lantern Festival (£3), Field of Screams (£7), a Fun Fair and the almighty Street Carnival on Halloween night!
Join in the spirit of one spooktacular city.
10. INTERNATIONAL CHOIR FESTIVAL
24th – 28th October
The city will be in fine song this coming week!
Choirs of all ages, ranges and abilities will descend on Derry to sing their hearts out. Schools, National and International choirs, Mixed Voices, Youth, Popular, Jazz, Gospel, with pop-up performances, classic concerts and more.
It’ll be music to your ears.
11. COMIC CITY FESTIVAL
Saturday 27th October
Comics aren’t just for kids. This is one serious art. And it’s stunning!
Come and see the best in comic art and storyboards for big hitters such as Game of thrones, Guardians of the Galaxy, Judge Dredd, James Bond, Star Trek, Dr. Who and many, many more talented creatives.
This is a comic strip of supreme proportions.
12. BEACH RACES 2018
Saturday 27th & Sunday 28th October
Motorbikes and scramblers are at the ready!
Take to the beach front at Portrush for a ‘sand’sational spectacle as more than 100 riders compete in the Beach Races, back by popular demand after last year’s success.
Keep your eyes peeled (and sand free) as you may not see them for dust!
13. SPOOKTACULAR HALLOWEEN FIREWORKS
Saturday 27th October, 3pm – 8.30pm
It’s fun fairs and fireworks for all the family.
Make sure you dress up as there’ll be prizes for best scary costumes. With fire tricks and treats, characters and entertainers, live music from The Groove Robbers, and a fabulous fireworks display.
You won’t want to miss out.
14. BALLYCASTLE HALLOWEEN ARTISAN MARKET
28th October, 11am – 4pm
Enjoy the sights, smells and tastes of Halloween a la local.
Sample and support high quality seasonal produce from Naturally North Coast and Glens, with home-cooked, locally produced, hand-made and beautifully crafted, home grown talent - with exceptional results.
