4. BELFAST CHAMPIONSHIP DOG SHOW

Bring your ‘best friend’ along to compete - or simply greet!
Ireland’s premier dog show and Crufts’ qualifier, is the perfect event to meet other dogs and their owners, test abilities, enter shows and socialise pets, with lots of tips and information on how to care for your prized pooch.

5. RED SQUIRREL DAY

Can you spot a red squirrel? This is one of the tops places to do so!
Take a guided walk through the charming Red Squirrel Trail to learn more about these endangered animals. The only species native to the UK, you can take part in educational and activity sessions all designed around these furry friends.

6. POTTERY SUNDAY

Have a go at creating your very own clay pot just like the Celts used to. Throw the pottery, craft it, shape it, sculpt it, design it, decorate it and take it home as little reminder of your handy craftsmanship.

7. GET OUT TO THE GORTIN GLENS

8. CLASSICAL MUSIC TOUR AT CASTLE COOLE
Saturday 29th September, 7.30pm - 10pm

Float away to the enchanting sounds of flautist Karin Leitner.
The magnificent Grand Hall will be brought to life and filled with the wonderful soothing tones of the flute courtesy of internationally renowned talent accompanied by harpist Teresa O’Donnell as they tour Ireland and bring a little musical magic to the masses.

10. DISCOVER TREES & MUSHROOMS

Classic, Vintage, Souped-up, Modern, American, Retro: all types of vehicles from trucks, tractors, trailers, cars, vans, caravans - even airborne ones this year! With a Motorbike Stunt Show, Show and Shine, stalls and family fun.
And to finish? A big ole convoy through the City!
