Power NI Business & Farm sponsorships 2018 & 2019
Stephen McCully, Managing Director of Power NI, discusses the energy provider’s sustained focus on business and community support.
“Power NI has a strong legacy, going back over 80 years, of both providing energy solutions to businesses and individual customers and giving something back to our local communities right across Northern Ireland.
“Our current business and community campaigns reflect our core company values of representing energy within a ‘New Northern Ireland’ and bringing communities together.
“After 15 years of competition we remain the largest supplier to the business sector with over 30,000 SMEs on our books, therefore we’re thrilled to support our vibrant local business community and show our support for organisations like Northern Ireland Chamber of Commerce and Women in Business and the programmes they roll out. These initiatives help our vibrant local business community expand and continue to be at the forefront of business excellence.
“It dovetails perfectly with current regional business awards partnerships in Ballymena, Belfast, Lisburn & Castlereagh, Armagh Banbridge & Craigavon and the North West. Inspiring success and innovation are key business values for us and it’s important for Power NI to play our part in supporting future industry and commerce.”
Energising local farming communities
Power NI offers dedicated farm energy tariffs to its customers and has established itself as the natural choice for local farmers when it comes to choosing a supplier.
Stephen continues: “We’ve been a long-term supporter of the local farming sector and have built up strong relationships with organisations in the agri-food industry. We are an affiliate member of the HSENI Farm Safety Partnership and help them to promote their Farm SAFE campaigns to our customers.
“We were delighted to be principal sponsor of last year’s Food Heartland Awards and we are just about to launch our partnership with the Young Farmers’ Clubs of Ulster for their 90th Anniversary year celebrations.”
