Following the rebranding of Energia Group and as part of a corporate restructuring, all Energia commercial customers with a supply address in Northern Ireland transferred to Power NI, Energia’s sister company, on 1 October 2019.

Who is Power NI?

Power NI is Northern Ireland’s leading electricity supplier and is part of Energia Group. We supply electricity to over 40,000 commercial customers in Northern Ireland, as well as over 450,000 domestic customers.

What happens?

Other than a change in branding, your bills and letters look the same as they do now. Your Account Number and tariff has not changed and existing Energia supply contracts transferred to Power NI, with the same rates, trading arrangements and end dates in place. All other account details and any payment arrangements also remain unaffected. If you previously had an Account Manager, you will continue to have an Account Manager.

How do I pay my bills?

Customers continue to pay bills in the same way as before; the bank details have not changed. As Energia is acting as an agent on behalf of Power NI, cheque payments must still be made payable to Energia Customer Solutions. For customers who pay by Direct Debit, you do not need to do anything as the Direct Debit service you receive is not affected. Your payments are still collected by Energia and there are no changes to how this appears on your bank/building society statement. Your Terms & Conditions

Your existing Terms & Conditions and Privacy Statement still apply, and your current marketing preferences also remain the same. If you would like to review your marketing preferences, please contact our customer service team.

Your online account

You still continue to have access to your online account, this has not changed.
