Why is it important for my business to be more sustainable?

Sustainability is the idea that we must ensure there will be enough resources left for future generations by reducing our carbon footprint and respecting the environment.

Your carbon footprint is the amount of carbon dioxide released into the air because of your own energy needs. From transport to electricity, the choices you make for your business can make a difference.

Net Zero refers to the balance between the amount of greenhouse gas produced and the amount removed from the atmosphere.

The government has introduced a law to reduce carbon emissions to Net Zero by 2050 meaning it’s now essential for your business to consider how to reach this target.

How is Power NI becoming more sustainable?
