What is the best tariff for my farm?

For farms, we have two tariffs to choose from. The best one depends on how much electricity you use and when you use it:

  • Farm Popular – best for animal or crop farms using around 5,000 units a year, with most electricity used during the day and very little used overnight. This tariff has one unit price, the same rate 24/7.
  • Farm Nightsaver – best for farms using more than 10,000 units a year, particularly dairy, pig and poultry farms. It offers a cheaper night rate for 7 hours between 1am and 8am, making it ideal if you can use more electricity overnight.
