For farms, we have two tariffs to choose from. The best one depends on how much electricity you use and when you use it:
- Farm Popular – best for animal or crop farms using around 5,000 units a year, with most electricity used during the day and very little used overnight. This tariff has one unit price, the same rate 24/7.
- Farm Nightsaver – best for farms using more than 10,000 units a year, particularly dairy, pig and poultry farms. It offers a cheaper night rate for 7 hours between 1am and 8am, making it ideal if you can use more electricity overnight.

Notes

2. All unit rates are quoted in pence. One unit is one kilowatt-hour.
3. All times are Greenwich Mean Time. Please add one hour during summer time.
4. Discounted rates are based 4% Direct Debit discount and an additional 2% online billing discount.
5. Climate Change Levy (CCL) applies if on average you use more than 33 units of electricity a day. It only applies to electricity which attracts full rate VAT. CCL is in addition to the quoted rates above.
6. An Energy Price Adjustment (EPA) will apply to reflect changes in the price of wholesale electricity in the Single Electricity Market.
