How do I get a new supply switched on?

Once the new supply is ready, NIE Networks will provide you with a Meter Point Reference Number (MPRN).
Contact us and we'll arrange for the supply to be switched on and get you registered for an account.

Here’s what you’ll need for the call:

  • Your MPRN (Meter Point Reference Number)
  • Your details (and any other persons of responsibility) and the business or farm’s details, including a company registration number where applicable.
  • Your bank account name, account number and sort code. This is to allow us to set up your Direct Debit
