Online billing

[1] Monthly Direct Debit customers get 4% discount up to £10 per quarter, equivalent to £40 per year. The maximum discount would be obtained by a customer spending £250 each quarter on electricity. To view Power NI standard rates please visit our unit rates page.

[1] Quarterly Direct Debit customers get 2.5% discount up to £6.50 per quarter, equivalent to £26 per year. The maximum discount would be obtained by a customer spending £250 each quarter on electricity. To view Power NI standard rates please visit our unit rates page.

[2] Keypad customers receive 2.5% discount off the standard unit rate with every top up. Keypad customers do not receive any additional discount for activating online billing. Keypad customers can avail of Keypad Reward by topping up online or via the Power NI App (buy £50, get £1 free). To view Power NI standard rates please visit our unit rates page.

Green Energy

[3] Customers with an online account can request that their electricity is sourced from 100% green energy sources by opting for the ‘Eco Energy’ tariff.

[4] Power NI supports local micro and large-scale generators. Our renewable electricity is achieved through PPAs (Power Purchase Agreements) with wind, photo-voltaic (PV) and hydroelectric generators across Northern Ireland. Power NI's renewable electricity is backed by Renewable Energy Guarantees of Origin (REGO) certificates issued by the UK energy regulator, Ofgem.
