We’re committed to helping you achieve a more sustainable home. Discover how we’ll support you and other households to create energy efficient, greener homes in Northern Ireland.

What is a green home?

A green home is created when any household puts in place small changes that make it more sustainable and energy efficient. These changes could involve switching to energy efficient appliances and light bulbs to cut your electricity use. You might start using an app to monitor and change your usage. Or you could switch to a tariff that uses 100% renewable electricity.

Greener homes are for everyone. There are lots of things we can do together to reduce your carbon footprint and make your home greener.

Helping create green homes in Northern Ireland

As part of Energia Group we are responding to the climate crisis by helping to create greener homes in Northern Ireland. We are investing €3 billion in achieving our climate action goals. We've aligned our responsible business activities to the UN Sustainable Development Goals on climate action, affordable and clean energy, innovation and infrastructure. This will help to guide us towards creating a more sustainable electricity supply.

We're committed to achieving a 50% reduction in the carbon intensity of our electricity generation by 2030. To do this we’re using more solar and wind power, these are renewable sources that won’t run out. We’ve made 100% renewable electricity available so that our customers can cut their carbon footprint, cut down on pollution and create greener homes.

Driving towards a greener future

Cut your charging costs and your carbon footprint with 100% renewable electricity and tariffs made especially for electric vehicle drivers.
