Terms and conditions

  1. The Competition 
    • The title of the competition is “Become a Mascot (“Competition”). 
    • The Competition is organised by Power NI Energy Limited t/a Power NI (“Power NI”) having its registered office at Greenwood House, 64 Newforge Lane, Belfast BT9 5NF. 
  2. How to Enter 
    • The Competition will run from 12 noon on 20 February 2025 until midnight on 12 March 2025 (“Closing Date”) inclusive.   
    • To enter the Competition you must complete the web form on the Competition web page before the Closing Date. 
    • Competition entries must be received by no later than midnight on the Closing Date.  Any entries received after the Closing Date are automatically disqualified and will not be considered.

  3. Eligibility 
    • Entrants to the Competition must (ibe aged 18 years or over and (ii) be the parent or legal guardian of the child.  The child must be aged between 7 and 12 years of age at the Closing Date. 
    • The Competition is not open to: 
      1. employees of Power NI or its parent or affiliated companies; 
      2. employees of its agents, suppliers, contractors, consultants, or anyone professionally connected with the Competition or its administration; or 
      3. immediate family members or households of (a) and (b) above 
    • There is a limit of 1 (one) entry to the Competition per child. 
    • Power NI reserves the right to disqualify any entries which it deems, in its sole discretion, to contravene the spirit of the Competition. 
    • In entering the Competition, you confirm that you are eligible to do so and eligible to claim the prize on behalf of the child. We may require you to provide proof that you are eligible to enter the Competition.  
  4. The Prize 
    • The prize is an opportunity for your child to be a mascot at the Ireland v France Women’s Six Nations game at Kingspan Stadium, Belfast on 22nd March 2025 together with 3 (three) tickets to the match, (1 (one) for the child and 2 (two) for the child’s parents/legal guardians) (the “Prize”). 
    • There is no cash or other alternative for the Prize. 
    • The Prize is not negotiable or transferable. 
    • The Prize draw will take place after the Closing Date.  Only eligible entrants will be eligible to win the Prize. 
  5. The Winner 
    • One winner, selected at random, will be contacted by Power NI’s Customer Care team by telephone on 13 March 2025 (“Announcement Date”).   
    • If the winner cannot be contacted or is not available, or has not claimed the Prize within 3 (three) working days from the Announcement Date, Power NI reserves the right to re-draw the Prize and offer it to the next eligible entrant selected from the correct entries that were received before the Closing Date. 
    • The winner must make their own travel arrangements to and from the stadium on the day of the match.  
    • By entering the Competition, the winner explicitly grants consent on their own behalf and on behalf of the child to Power NI, and its parent or affiliated companies, to use (without charge) their name, image and general location for publicity purposes on its website, social media or other platforms and in the IRFU matchday programme.  If you object to your name or image, or that of the child, being published or made available, please contact us at: [email protected]. 
  6. Data Protection and Publicity 
    • Please see our Privacy Statement.pdf for details of how we process your personal data in accordance with our obligations under data protection legislation.   
    • We will only process your personal information as set out in the privacy statement. 
  7. Limitation of Liability 
    • Insofar as is permitted by law, Power NI will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winner or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the Prize except where it is caused by the negligence of Power NI or its employees. Your statutory rights are not affected.  
    • Power NI is not responsible for problems with entries caused by any factors outside its control. 
  8. General 
    • By entering the Competition, you warrant that all information submitted by you is true and accurate. 
    • If there is any reason to believe that there has been a breach of these terms and conditions, Power NI reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to exclude you from participating in the Competition. 
    • Power NI reserves the right to hold void, suspend, cancel or amend the Competition where it becomes necessary to do so. 
    • These terms and conditions are governed by Northern Irish law.
