Power NI celebrates ‘Plant Perfection’ at YFCU Floral Art Final
Power NI, proud Sustainability Partner and Platinum Sponsor of the Young Farmers’ Clubs of Ulster (YFCU), attended the highly anticipated YFCU Floral Art Competition final at the Armagh County Show in Gosford Forest Park on Saturday 14th June 2025.
The final brought together talented young members from across Northern Ireland, aged 12 to 30, who secured their places after progressing through a series of regional heats.
With the top three from each category earning their spot in the final showcase, they were given one hour to create a floral display based on the 2025 theme, ‘Plant Perfection’. The brief asked participants to highlight the sleek side of nature, with neat leaves, tidy textures, and every element perfectly placed.
Karen Walker, YFCU Vice President, announced the winners in each category, while awards were presented by Richard Beattie, YFCU President, and Caragh O’Neill, Power NI’s Marketing Executive.
Caragh said: “Being part of this year’s final was a fantastic experience. The standard of work was incredible. It was clear that each competitor put so much thought and skill into their interpretation of ‘Plant Perfection’. Power NI is proud to support events that nurture creativity and confidence in young people across our rural communities in Northern Ireland.”
Power NI continues to support the YFCU in its mission to empower young people, promote rural life, and encourage sustainable futures.
