Hillmount's Robin Mercer is presented with the award for Business Person of the Year by Power NI's Commercial Marketing Manager, Amy Bennington at the LCCC Business Awards

Local businesses turned out to celebrate their successes at the Lisburn & Castlereagh City Business Awards on Friday 6th March.

The awards, held in association with Power NI, celebrated the high performing, diverse and exciting range of businesses that make up the local economy. From manufacturers to retailers, restaurateurs to technology firms, and everything in between.

The glittering black tie awards ceremony took place at La Mon Hotel & Country Club with winners announced across 15 categories. Power NI also sponsored the award for Business Person of the Year, which was won by Hillmount’s Robin Mercer.

Alderman Allan Ewart MBE, Chair of the Development Committee at Lisburn & Castlereagh City Council said: “To win, or have been a finalist of one of these prestigious awards serves as a reminder to your employees of all their hard work, and equally importantly it showcases your success to your customers, both current and prospective. I would like to congratulate each and every entrant and particularly those who won awards at our fabulous awards night.”
