Thanks to a nomination from Power NI employee Francesca Woodman, Noah’s Ark Parent and Toddler group have been able to purchase new toys and equipment to aid the children’s learning.

Power NI’s Helping Hands scheme allows their employees to nominate local groups and charities they feel deserve funding.

Francesca Woodman Power NI employee commented:
“Parents & Toddler groups are a lifeline for new parents to meet people and for children to develop social skills in a fun, safe space. I’m delighted to be able to support Noah’s Ark Parents & Tots through my employer, Power NI as I know first-hand how valuable the service they provide is to children, parents, carers and guardians in the local community.”

Jenny from the organisation said:
“We are thrilled to receive funding from Power NI. The £300 will allow us to purchase some much-needed new educational toys for the children using our services as well as highchairs for younger children and babies. Our sessions are run entirely by volunteers and could not operate without donations and initiatives like Helping Hands.”
