Ballymena Chamber of Commerce is delighted to announce the launch of the 2023 Ballymena Business Excellence Awards, with the principal sponsor Mid and East Antrim Borough Council.
The awards are a chance for Ballymena to showcase its businesses, reward employees and celebrate success in the local area.
Leigh Heggarty, Business Development Manager at Galgorm, and Chamber President stated: “The economic environment has, to say the least, been very challenging firstly with the pandemic followed by significant increases in the cost of utilities and raw materials. However, the local economy has remained strong, and its growth demonstrates both the commitment and entrepreneurship of individuals together with the business excellence that exists in Ballymena and the local villages.
“I would like to thank Mid and East Antrim Borough Council for agreeing to be the principal sponsor once again this year. Chamber has an excellent working relationship with Mid and East Antrim Borough Council, and I look forward to continuing and indeed building upon this relationship. I would also like to thank all other businesses who have sponsored awards or taken an advertisement in the awards' brochure.”
Mark Wiggins, Product Innovation Manager at Power NI, and Chamber Vice President, comments: “We’re delighted to continue our support of Ballymena Chamber and sponsor the Sustainability Award at this year’s event.
