Faulty meters are extremely rare. Usually the reason for a high bill usually lies elsewhere. To find out why a bill might be high, visit here.
Otherwise we can arrange for the Meter Operator, NIE Networks, to carry out a basic check of the meter and associated wiring. There is no charge for this, but there is usually a waiting list of a few weeks.
If you are still not happy, we can arrange for a Check Meter to be fitted to verify the accuracy of your existing meter. There is a charge for this but it would be refunded if the meter is subsequently found to be faulty, together with any overcharge.
