Power NI, Northern Ireland's leading energy provider, was proud to sponsor the Acts of Kindness in the Community Award at this year’s heartwarming Uberheroes Awards ceremony, hosted by the inspiring charity Hope 4 Life NI
Held on Saturday 12 April at the La Mon Hotel & Country Club, the event brought together families, supporters, and communities from across Northern Ireland to recognise some truly incredible young people who are making a real difference through empathy, bravery, and kindness.
The Uberheroes Awards, created by Hope 4 Life NI, shine a light on children and young people who go above and beyond to support others, while also raising awareness of youth mental health through their powerful and creative Uberheroes comic series.
Among the evening’s shining stars was Brandon Parker-McCauley, who received the Power NI sponsored Acts of Kindness in the Community Award. Brandon’s quick thinking and calm response when a football fan became unwell at an Irish League match helped save a life. His courage and compassion are a powerful reminder of the incredible impact young people can have.
Our CSR Manager, Gwyneth Compston, who attended the awards, shared:
“It is always such a pleasure to be able to support and attend these special awards that celebrate the young people in our local communities. It never ceases to amaze us how many wonderful people there are, dedicating time, going above and beyond to show kindness to those most in need.”
We’re honoured to play a part in recognising young changemakers like Brandon and to continue supporting Hope 4 Life NI’s vital work in promoting positivity and mental wellbeing.
