Power NI took centre stage when they were crowned winners of The Prince’s Trust Million Makers Corporate Challenge 2014 after generating an amazing £34,500 over just six months.
Starting with seed funding of £1,500, the team undertook a relentless round of fundraising events including a staff talent show and an office “Bake Off”. Stephen McCully, Power NI’s Managing Director commented: “We are absolutely delighted to have raised £34,500 for The Prince’s Trust. Our team of Million Makers have worked tirelessly to raise this grand total with the support of Power NI staff, family and friends. We’ve thoroughly enjoyed the challenge and could not be prouder of this achievement.”
Now in its seventh year, the fundraising competition has successfully raised more than £300,000 to help The Prince’s Trust support disadvantaged young people from the ages of 13 to 30 across Northern Ireland.
