Summer send-off event for Ireland Women’s Rugby Team

Power NI, part of Energia Group, is committed to supporting Irish Rugby from grassroots to international level. Energia, in proud partnership with Indo Sport, will host an exclusive event at Dublin’s Mansion House to celebrate and send off the Ireland Women’s Rugby Team. The full squad and management will be joined by their families and friends for a special evening to reflect on their achievements to date and hear about their goals and aspirations for the coming weeks.

The event which will be MC’d by Joe Molloy will kick off with a panel discussion featuring Head Coach Scott Bemand, and Scrum Coach Denis Fogarty, with a third guest to be announced.  Both coaches will share exclusive insights on preparations and their hopes and ambitions heading into the tournament.

The player panel will include Energia Ambassadors Aoife Wafer and Brittany Hogan, and the team captain (to be confirmed), who will share what it means to them to represent Ireland on the world stage.

We’re also looking forward to hearing from past legends Niamh Briggs, Fiona Coghlan, and Fiona Hayes who will reflect on their own time in the green jersey, offering wisdom and words of advice to the squad as they head into their biggest challenge yet.

We’re proud to champion rugby at all levels. In an uneven landscape we want to address the imbalance by calling all Irish rugby supporters to show their support for the Women’s team as we champion women’s players for putting in equal dedication and devotion to the game. With more support for this team and players, we can only #ThinkOfThePossibilities.
