Emergency situations (e.g. power cuts) can be reported to Northern Ireland Electricity Networks 24/7 on 03457 643 643 or online at powercheck.nienetworks.co.uk.
The tenant name that appears on the bill will not be solely responsible for payment. All tenants will be held equally responsible.
Mandatory fields
If there are a number of tenants sharing electricity costs, e.g. university students, you’ll need to complete a joint tenancy agreement form. The form will need to be completed by the tenants in the property.
This means that all tenants have equal responsibility for bills, so if someone doesn’t pay their share of the bill, others won't be held liable.
