Iúr Cinn Fleadh, Newry

Newry’s Iúr Cinn Fleadh is a traditional Irish music and community festival, taking place during the 24th and 28th August 2023. It’s an annual celebration of culture and craic amid the delightful and dynamic County Down.

Take part in trad trails of Irish music with the brilliant musicians in the local surrounding area, try some traditional Irish food in the Buttercrane Shopping Centre on the 26th of August and embrace the bank holiday weekend with a blast of music.

Foyle Pride Parade, Derry/Londonderry

Foyle Pride is taking place again this year from the 18th of August until the 27th of August 2023. This event aims to fight for the rights and representation of LGBTQIA+ individuals in Derry/Londonderry, as well as to raise awareness of the LGBTQIA+ community.

The parade day will take place on the 26th of August, and it is not a day to miss, with the streets of Derry/Londonderry filled with a vibrant atmosphere.

Summer Wonders Art in the Park, Portstewart

Do you have a creative side you want to express? Let your imagination go wild in this hour-long session, led by the wonderful Linda Mulholland.

The theme of the session is ‘Wild Flowers’ with some inspiration from the great outdoors, this fantastic session for all ages is not to be missed!
 

MountPanther Farm Park, Co. Down

Mountpanther are a family ran farm park based outside Newcastle, Co. Down who have animals from all over the world including snakes, lizards, llamas, meerkats and many more!

If the weather is clear this bank holiday weekend, Mountpanther is the place to be and it’s the perfect opportunity to let your children run wild with a go-kart track, bouncy castles, play parks, animal feeding and cuddling and some fantastic photo opportunities.

Ould Lammas Fair, Ballycastle

The Ould Lammas Fair is back again in Ballycastle this year for another year of trading, bargaining and entertainment including amusements, horse shows and live music!

Try out the famous local favourite Yellow Man or Dulce and wander around the Naturally North Coast and Glen's Artisan Market, featuring local fresh produce, handmade crafts, and fine art. This is a fantastic family day out over the bank holiday weekend.

Sunset cruise with Erne Tours, Fermanagh

Sit back, relax, and watch the sun go down in Lough Erne while enjoying some refreshing drinks and listening to live music this bank holiday weekend. It’s the perfect time to wind down! 

The cruise departs from the Round O Jetty, Enniskillen and takes you around the island of Enniskillen and then on as far as Devenish Island where you can take in the incredible scenes of Devenish Round Tower as you pass by the Island and turn to make the return journey back to Enniskillen.

The trip is on the 26th of August from 18:30pm to 20:30pm and you can book now!

Slieve Gullion Forest Park, Armagh

Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge, Ballintoy

Belfast’s’ multicultural festival is back this year having attracted over 60,000 people last year. The Mela festival will take place over 9 days starting on the 19th of August 2023 with the main day of the festival taking place on Sunday the 27th of August with plenty of colour, music, and dance.

The Titanic Experience, Belfast

Titanic Belfast tells the story of the Titanic which extends over nine interpretive and interactive galleries, which explore the sights, sounds, smells and stories of RMS Titanic, as well as the city and people who made her.
