I’ve opted out of Power NI / Rewards Gateway emails why am I still receiving them?

Q: Why can I not log in to my account using my existing Quickpay details?

We recently made online accounts available to all customers and have moved all customers from Quickpay to the Power NI app. Within your online account, we can provide customers with more benefits and an overall better online experience. As a result, you will be unable to log in to the new Power NI app using your existing Quickpay username and password. You can either register for an online account by clicking on the Register button, or you can use the guest route to top up your keypad or pay a bill online.

Q: How do I save my login details, so that I don’t have to enter them each time I log in?

You can create a PIN to log in to the app, or if you have Fingerprint ID, Touch ID or Face ID available you can use these each time you log in. By using this functionality, it will remove the need for you to enter your login details (username and password) each time you want to log in to your account. If you have forgotten your PIN, please select Cancel and log in with login details.

Q: Why does the app need access to my media and files?

The app needs access to your media and files to display your bills and letters. If you deny the app access, you will be unable to view your bills and letters within the app. If you do attempt to view a bill or letter the message will appear on-screen. If you would like to view the bill or letter, select ‘Yes’ and this pop up will no longer appear when you view your bills or letters.

Q: If I am experiencing an issue with the app, who should I contact?

If you are experiencing issues with the app, please email us at home@powerni.co.uk with the following information: name, account number or keypad premise number (if known), phone number iOS or android user, and device (mobile or tablet) issue you are experiencing. Or contact us by visiting our contact us page.

Power NI Perks

To opt out of receiving Perks emails from our new provider (Reward Gateway) you need to log in to the ‘Account’ section of the Perks platform, go into ‘Communication Preferences’ and disable the email comms. Account > Account Settings > Communication Preferences
