Information for Keypad customers

From 11 November, when you buy a top-up you will receive a 40 to 60 digit price change code. Please enter the full code into your meter. If you're experiencing issues topping up, please email us. Our customer care team are responding to emails 9am to 8pm during the weekday and 9am to 1pm over the weekend.

Trivia Thursdays terms and conditions

  1. The Competition 
    • The title of the competition is “Power NI Trivia Thursdays – Social Media Competition” (“Competition”). 
    • The Competition is organised by Power NI Energy Limited t/a Power NI (“Power NI”) having its registered office at Greenwood House, 64 Newforge Lane, Belfast BT9 5NF. 
  2. How to Enter 
    • The Competition will run from 12 noon on 21/03/24 to 12 noon on 22/03/24 (“Closing Date”) inclusive.   
    • Competition entries must be received by no later than 12 noon on the Closing Date.  Any entries received after the Closing Date are automatically disqualified and will not be considered. 
    • To enter the Competition you must (i) follow Power NI on Instagram and X (formerly Twitter) and (ii) answer the question correctly on the Competition post on Power NI’s Instagram stories and X page. 
    • By submitting a Competition entry, you are agreeing to be bound by these terms and conditions.

  3. Eligibility 
    • Entrants to the Competition must be aged 18 years or over. 
    • The Competition is not open to: 
      1. employees of Power NI or its parent or affiliated companies; 
      2. employees of its agents, suppliers, contractors, consultants, or anyone professionally connected with the Competition or its administration; or 
      3. immediate family members or households of (a) and (b) above.  
    • Power NI reserves the right to disqualify any entries which it deems, in its sole discretion, to contravene the spirit of the Competition. 
    • In entering the Competition, you confirm that you are eligible to do so and eligible to claim the prize. We may require you to provide proof that you are eligible to enter the Competition.  
  4. The Prize 
    • The prize will be two (2) tickets to see Ireland v Scotland at the Kingspan Stadium, Belfast on 27 April 2024. The Prize will be issued as e-tickets and will be transferred to the winner’s preferred e-mail address. 
    • There is no cash or other alternative for the Prize. 
    • The Prize is not negotiable or transferable. 
    • The Prize draw will take place after the Closing Date.  Only eligible entrants with the correct entries will be eligible to win the Prize. 
  5. The Winner 
    • One winner, selected at random, will be contacted by Power NI via social media with details of how to claim the Prize (“Announcement Date”).   
    • If the winner cannot be contacted or is not available, or has not claimed the Prize within 2 (two) working days from the Announcement Date, Power NI reserves the right to re-draw the Prize and offer it to the next eligible entrant selected from the correct entries that were received before the Closing Date. 
    • By entering the Competition, the winner agrees to allow Power NI to use their name in connection with any publicity of the Competition on its website, social media or other platforms.  If you object to your name being published or made available, please contact us at: [email protected]
  6. Data Protection and Publicity

    • We will only process your personal information as set out in the privacy statement. 
  7. Limitation of Liability 
    • Insofar as is permitted by law, Power NI will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winner or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the Prize except where it is caused by the negligence of Power NI or its employees. Your statutory rights are not affected.  
    • Power NI is not responsible for problems with entries caused by any factors outside its control. 
  8. General 
    • By entering the Competition, you warrant that all information submitted by you is true and accurate. 
    • If there is any reason to believe that there has been a breach of these terms and conditions, Power NI reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to exclude you from participating in the Competition. 
    • Power NI reserves the right to hold void, suspend, cancel or amend the Competition where it becomes necessary to do so. 
    • These terms and conditions are governed by Northern Irish law.
