Downey House Preparatory School receive £300 funding from Power NI, as part of their Helping Hands scheme.

Speaking with Power NI employee, Debra Stevenson, she said, “I am thankful to work for a company that gives back to the local community through excellent initiatives like the Helping Hands scheme.  As a parent of Downey House Prep School, I know the school and the children will get lots of enjoyment and learn valuable skills with the equipment bought from this funding.”

Downey House PTA member, Aaron Stevenson commented, “The £300 from the Helping Hands scheme at Power NI has really benefitted our school. The money has been put towards outdoor playground equipment for active play. Each child from P1-P7 now has the opportunity to use this super new equipment every day at break and lunch and they are really enjoying it. Thank you, Power NI.”
