Castlewellan Futures have officially begun their Quest after completing step number one of the ten step challenge. To win £10,000 to invest in their community they must reach step number ten before the five other finalists in the competition.

Step number one involved holding a community meeting with their group mentor Wilma Stewart who provided them with a presentation on  the background to Power NI, the benefits of energy saving and more details on what to expect throughout the rest of the Quest competition.   They are now able to move on to step number two which is completing 100 online Home Energy Checks. Michael Donnelly from Castlewellan Futures said; "At Castlewellan Futures we want to ensure sustainability in the community and we believe we can achieve this through our participation in Quest.  We are excited to get started and believe we have what it takes to win this competition."

Wilma Stewart, Group mentor added; "Castlewellan futures are dedicated to making a huge difference to their community so will really make the most out of Quest.  Their first step was a great success and I know the rest of their challenge will be too." Castlewellan Futures now have 100 Home Energy Checks to complete before they can move on to step number three.
