Friday, February 27, 2015

Elderly residents in the Harryville area have been keeping warm this winter with the help of Ballymena community group, Harryville Partnership and Power NI’s ‘Helping Hands’ staff sponsorship scheme.

Power NI employee and local resident, Roy McPeake, nominated the community group for funding to help purchase thermal socks and clothing for elderly members of the organisation.

Roy commented: "I am absolutely delighted to have the opportunity to nominate Harryville Partnership for this donation. They do fantastic work in the area and it’s great to be able to help them continue with their work through Power NI’s staff sponsorship scheme."

Ron McMurray, manager of the Harryville Partnership added: "We would like to thank Power NI and Roy for their kind support. Sponsorship eases the financial challenges of carrying out our work."
