Emergency situations (e.g. power cuts) can be reported to Northern Ireland Electricity Networks 24/7 on 03457 643 643 or online at powercheck.nienetworks.co.uk.
If you're moving out, and would like to close your Power NI account you can now update us within your online account. Simply login and visit the ‘Close my account’ section. All you need is:
The date you are moving out.
A closing meter read if your property has a bill pay meter.
A forwarding address.
We also recommend taking a photo of your meter reading that clearly shows the meter serial number, as this may be required for verification purposes when you move out. We'll confirm your move has been processed by emailing you a confirmation that your account has been closed.
