When you buy a top-up from 16 June 2026, you will get a 40-to-60 digit price change code.
You must enter this into your meter and then press the # button before any further top-up codes can be accepted.
If you do not enter this code, all future top-ups will fail, and you will get a ‘rejected’ message followed by ‘wrong tar’.
It’s easy to fix this. Enter the 40-to-60 digit price change code followed by the top-up code you bought.
