How do I switch to Power NI?

When does my supply actually change over?

Your switch to Power NI will be complete once we receive confirmation from NIE Networks. This will take around 2 weeks. You’ll then receive a welcome letter from us confirming your switch is complete.

Your switch is fully complete once you receive your Power NI welcome pack. If you don't receive anything from us after 4 weeks get in touch and we'll look into this for you.

Do I need to get in touch with my old supplier?

No, once you confirm with us you want to switch you don’t need to do anything else.

Do I need to cancel my Direct Debit with my previous supplier?

Your Direct Debit should be automatically cancelled by your previous supplier when your switch to Power NI has been completed, you shouldn’t need to do anything.
