Information for Keypad customers
From 11 November, when you buy a top-up you will receive a 40 to 60 digit price change code. Please enter the full code into your meter. If you're experiencing issues topping up, please email us. Our customer care team are responding to emails 9am to 8pm during the weekday and 9am to 1pm over the weekend.
To set a low balance alert just follow these simple steps (available for Android users only):
Open the Power NI Keypad+ app
Click on the 'Keypad+' button from the main menu
On the 'Your balance and usage' screen click on the bell which appears on the top left-hand corner of the screen
On the 'Balance Alert Settings' screen, make sure that the 'Enable Alerts' switch is turned on (if it's on it should appear green)
Then enter a 'Low Balance Alert Amount'
Click 'Save'
A confirmation message will appear on-screen, select 'OK'.
If your balance falls below the ‘Low Balance Alert Amount’ you have set, you will receive a push notification on your smartphone advising you that your balance is running low. The alert will only appear once every 24 hours and can be disabled on the ‘Balance Alert Settings’ page. If you wish to manage this notification please change this in your phone settings i.e. do not disturb, sound etc. Please note: the app needs to be in range and connected to the Keypad+ unit to receive push notifications.
