Power NI, Northern Ireland’s leading energy supplier, gave a ‘helping hand’ to Tyrone’s Farming Society, the organisers of the Annual Omagh Show. Power NI donated £250 through its ‘Helping Hands’ staff sponsorship scheme. The donation covered sponsorship for four of the Working Hunter Classes and prize money for these events.
Power NI employee, Sonya McAleer, who is from Omagh, nominated the Tyrone Farming Society. She said: "Helping Hands is a fantastic scheme and it has helped the Tyrone’s Farming Society hold another successful Annual Omagh Show. I am proud to work for a company that show they care about the societies I am involved with."
The Tyrone Farming Society, based in Omagh, continues to represnt the local farming community and cater for their changing needs. This was the 176th Annual Omagh show and hopefully there will be plenty more to come!
