What is Power of Attorney?

  • Third party access
‘Power of Attorney’ or ‘Lasting Power of Attorney’ allows a person to legally act on behalf of another person. This is a legal process, and a legal document will be issued. Power NI must have this document on the Power NI customers account, to release data to the “Attorney” (the third-party) responsible for the “Doner” (the Power NI customer).

You will need to send proof of Power of Attorney to [email protected], which shows customers name, address and is signed by all relevant parties. We will acknowledge receipt of your documents by email.
