Why am I still getting bills from my old supplier?

The switching process can take up to 8 weeks, so your old supplier will continue to bill you until the switch is complete. You should receive a final bill to close your account (this may take up to 8 weeks after you've switched).

How can I be sure I won't be double billed?

When you switch we'll contact your old supplier to let them know you are switching to us. To make sure you’re not double billed the meter reading used to open your Power NI account will be the same reading used to close your account with your previous supplier.

When will I receive my account number or Keypad premise number?

You’ll receive your new Power NI account number on your welcome letter when your switch is complete. If you haven't received anything after 4 weeks get in touch and we'll look into this for you.

What if I change my mind about switching?

If you have changed your mind about switching simply give us a call on 03457 455 455 within 10 working days of the date you initially contacted us to request the switch.
